Jacob Rodriguez is the founder and lead pastor of CityLight Church in Mountain View, California. A passionate communicator and encourager, Jacob has spent over two decades helping people grow in faith, strengthen their families, and live out God’s purpose for their lives.

He and his wife, Cherie, have been happily married for 23 years. Together, they share a heart for marriages and families, believing that strong homes build strong churches. Their love story and ministry partnership have inspired many couples to rediscover connection, healing, and joy in their relationships.

While planting CityLight Church, Jacob also served as President of the National Messengers of Peace, leading a national movement that equipped thousands of young people for ministry and missions. Today, he continues to invest in future leaders as Director of the Northern Pacific Coast Bible College, where he mentors and trains students for Apostolic ministry.

Jacob is the author of several books on faith, leadership, and Christian living, including Hope Again, Growing Young, and Promise Seekers. His newest release, Love Birds, reflects his passion for helping couples experience God’s design for lasting love.

Jacob and Cherie live in Silicon Valley, California, with their two children, Makai and Chloe, where they continue to faithfully serve their church and community.
